Downloading Your e-Book

For Nook®

Download the e-book to your PC or Mac and follow the instructions below.

You can sideload ePub files into the Nook® and read them using the following steps:

  • Connect (Mount) your phone to your PC or Mac to access the folder structure.
  • Open the NOOK Folder -Open the My Documents Folder -Drag the e-book file into the folder
  • Disconnect your phone from PC or Mac
  • Open the NOOK for Android app -In the library, filter by "My Files"

You should be then able to open and read your e-book. If you cannot see your e-book, perform a sync.

For Kindle®

Download the book to your PC or Mac and follow instructions below.

You can sideload ePub files into the Kindle® and read them using the following steps:

  • Connect your device to your computer with the USB cable. Your device will appear in the same location on your computer that external USB drives appear.
    Windows: Your device will appear in the Computer or My Computer folder.
    Mac: Your device will appear on the desktop.
  • Open the device folder, and then open the Documents or Internal Documents folder.
  • Locate the downloaded file on your computer, and then drag and drop the compatible file into the appropriate folder. Depending on your device type, the folder names may vary.
    For example, on Kindle® Paperwhite, move books to the Documents folder. On Kindle® Fire tablets, move books to the Books folder.
  • Safely disconnect your device from your computer once the transfer is complete.

Your personal document will appear on the home screen of your Kindle®. For Kindle® Fire devices, tap Docs from the home screen to view your documents.

For iPad®, iPhone®, or iPod®

Download to your Mac or PC and sync to your device using iTunes®:

To add them to your iTunes® library, choose File > Add to Library, or drag the EPUB file to the Books library on your computer. If you're using OS X Mavericks or later, you can add them to your library in iBooks®. To read your e-books, sync them to your device. The e-books must be in one of the above supported formats.

The e-book will be in a PDF (portable document format) which can be read using Adobe® Reader or any other PDF reader program.
